Frequently asked questions

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not inside the app. On iPhone open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Train at Home. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal or free trial end date to avoid the next charge. Deleting the app does not cancel it.

How do I restore my purchase on a new phone?

Open the subscription screen or Profile and tap Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account you bought with.

Can I get a refund?

Payments are taken by Apple, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Do I need an account?

No. Train at Home has no accounts. Your plan, answers and progress are stored on your iPhone.

Do you see my health answers?

No. Your answers, including health questions, stay on your device and are never sent to us. Apple Health data also stays on your iPhone.

How do I delete my data?

Open Profile and tap Delete my data. This erases everything the app saved on your device. To also remove purchase records or feedback held by our providers, email us.

How do I turn off usage data?

Open Profile › Usage data. You can turn off usage statistics and crash reports separately.

Will my progress move to a new phone?

Your progress is stored on your device, so it moves when you restore an iPhone backup (such as iCloud Backup) onto the new phone. There is no account to sign in to.

A video will not play. What can I do?

Exercise videos are streamed, so you need an internet connection. Check your connection and reopen the workout. The coach keeps guiding you if a video is unavailable. If it keeps happening, email us with the exercise name.

How do I change my plan?

Open Workouts and tap Change plan, or update your answers in Profile. Your history is kept when you switch.

How do I turn reminders off?

Turn them off in the app settings, or in iPhone Settings › Notifications › Train at Home.

Is Train at Home safe for me?

Train at Home is a fitness app, not a medical device. Check with your doctor before you start, and stop if something hurts. Every exercise has an easier option.

Are the coaches real people?

Exercise videos show real trainers. The coach voice and the photos on plan covers are AI-generated.

Who can use the app?

You must be 13 or older. If you are under 18, please use the app with a parent or guardian's permission.
