Privacy Policy

Train at Home does not ask you to create an account. Your plan, health answers and progress stay on your device. This page explains, in plain words, the small amount of information that does leave it, who receives it and the choices you have.
Who we are
Train at Home ("the app") is made by DroidAppBD, an independent studio based in Bangladesh. In this policy "we", "us" and "our" mean DroidAppBD. Contact: info@droidappbd.com.
The short version
- No account, no sign-in and no email address needed.
- Your answers in the app, including health questions such as pregnancy, conditions or areas that need care, are stored only on your device. They are never sent to us.
- No advertising. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, we do not use the advertising identifier (IDFA) and we never sell your data.
- We use anonymous usage statistics and crash reports to improve the app. You can turn them off in Profile › Usage data. In the EU, UK, EEA and Switzerland nothing is sent until you agree.
- Subscriptions are processed by Apple. A subscription service (RevenueCat) keeps your purchase history under a random ID so your subscription works.
Information stored only on your device
To build and run your plan, the app saves on your device: your onboarding answers (for example age band, sex, goals, level, schedule, equipment and any body measurements you choose to enter), your health and safety screening answers, areas that need care, your plan, workout history, weights you log, streaks and badges, your settings and your first name if you enter one. We cannot see this information.
If you use your phone's backup (such as iCloud Backup), Apple may include the app's data in that backup under your Apple settings. You can erase everything the app has saved at any time in Profile › Delete my data. Deleting the app also removes it.
Information that leaves your device
| What | Who receives it | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Usage statistics: screens viewed, onboarding steps, workouts started and finished, subscription screens viewed, and coarse answers such as age band, sex, goal, level, days per week and session length. Sent with a random app instance ID, device model, OS version, language and app version. | Google Firebase Analytics, Performance Monitoring and Remote Config | To understand which parts of the app help people and improve them. Never your name, health conditions, weight values or free text. |
| Crash reports and error codes, with device model and OS version. | Google Firebase Crashlytics | To find and fix crashes. You can turn this off in Profile › Usage data › Send crash reports. |
| Purchase history for this app (product, price, store country, renewals) and a random anonymous ID created on your device. If you came from an Apple Search Ads advert, which campaign that was (Apple's AdServices). | RevenueCat | To unlock Train at Home Plus, restore purchases, and show us anonymous subscription totals such as trials and renewals. |
| Which exercises are in the workout you open, a random security key ID from Apple's App Attest and a short-lived session token. | Our media server, hosted on Cloudflare | To check that requests come from the genuine app, apply daily limits, and return links to exercise videos and voice packs. The key ID is kept for up to 180 days. |
| Requests to stream exercise videos. | YMove, our licensed exercise video provider | To deliver the videos. The links are requested fresh for each workout and not saved by the app. |
| Feedback you choose to send: a 0–10 score, an optional message and an optional email address, with the app version, language and plan name. | Our media server (Cloudflare storage) | To read your feedback and, if you gave an email, reply. We can delete it on request. |
Like any internet request, these connections reveal your device's IP address to the receiving server. We do not store IP addresses in our own systems. Our media server uses it briefly to block abuse, and our hosting provider may keep short-lived request logs (a few days) for security and troubleshooting.
Apple Health
If you choose to connect Apple Health, the app reads your steps, walking distance, flights climbed, exercise minutes, Activity ring progress and walks recorded by other apps, and, if you are 18 or older and the app's weight settings apply to you, your weight and active energy. We use this only to show your activity and trends in the app, count walks toward your streak and award step badges. The app can also save your finished workouts, breathing sessions (as mindful minutes) and weights you log to Apple Health. Each of these can be switched off in Profile › Apple Health, and you can remove access in the Health app › Sharing › Apps › Train at Home.
Your Apple Health data stays on your iPhone and in Apple Health. We never send it to our servers, to analytics or to any third party, never use it for advertising or marketing, and never sell it. The app works fully without Apple Health.
Purchases
Subscriptions are sold and charged by Apple through your Apple Account. We never see your payment details. Apple tells the app, through RevenueCat, whether you have an active subscription.
Notifications
Reminders are optional and are scheduled on your device (for example a workout reminder or a reminder before a free trial ends). We do not use a push notification server. You can turn reminders off in the app or in your iPhone Settings.
Advertising and tracking
The app shows no ads, does not ask for permission to track you, and does not use the advertising identifier. Apple Search Ads attribution is Apple's own measurement of which of our App Store adverts led to an install. It does not identify you and is not tracking under Apple's rules. Firebase is set so that advertising storage and ad personalisation are always off.
AI-generated content
Exercise videos show real trainers. The coach voice (Ava) is an AI-generated voice recorded in advance and included in the app, and the photos of people on plan covers and in onboarding are AI-generated. The app never records you.
Legal bases (EU, UK and similar laws)
- Contract: processing purchases and delivering exercise videos you ask for.
- Consent: usage statistics in the EU, UK, EEA and Switzerland, and Apple Health access. You can withdraw consent at any time in the app.
- Legitimate interests: crash reporting, security and abuse prevention, and usage statistics outside those regions, which you can switch off.
How long we keep information
- Data on your device: until you delete it in the app or delete the app.
- Usage statistics in Firebase: no longer than 14 months. Crash reports: about 90 days.
- Purchase history in RevenueCat: while it is needed for your subscription and our records, or until you ask us to delete it.
- App Attest key IDs: up to 180 days. Feedback: until we have dealt with it, or until you ask us to delete it.
Where information is processed
Our service providers (Google, RevenueCat, Cloudflare and YMove) may process information in the United States and other countries. They act on our behalf and protect it under their own terms, including standard contractual clauses where required.
Your rights and choices
- Turn off usage statistics and crash reports in Profile › Usage data.
- Erase everything on your device in Profile › Delete my data.
- Disconnect Apple Health in the Health app at any time.
- Ask us for access to, correction of or deletion of information held by our providers (for example your purchase record or feedback) by emailing info@droidappbd.com. Because there is no account, we may ask for details such as your purchase date to find it.
- You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children and teenagers
Train at Home is for people aged 13 and over. If you are under 18, please use the app with the permission of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child under 13 is using the app, contact us.
Security
All connections use encrypted HTTPS, and our media server only answers requests from the genuine app. No system is perfectly secure, so we keep what we receive to a minimum.
Health information
Train at Home is a fitness app, not a medical device. Health answers you enter are used only on your device to choose suitable exercises. See the health disclaimer in our Terms of Use.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If a change affects how your information is used, we will tell you in the app.
